Every wedding has a story, but here’s one of my favorites.
Couples often ask me about my most memorable wedding. I have a lot of candidates for that title but, for sheer weirdness, the wedding of Dan and Tammy have to stand above the others.
I’ll let Dan’s words tell the tale: “Everyone wants to make their wedding day unique; with us, we wanted to go in an extremely non-traditional wedding and make it a horror-themed ordeal. “We knew that finding the right person to perform the ceremony was going to be tough, and the first person recommended to us was Rich. His wonderfully fun and unique style matched ours perfectly, while staying significant to the day. Rich played along with our plans and made it the best day possible. We had body parts floating in the pool, Bride of Frankenstein playing on a movie screen, corpses scattered around the property, and horror-movie themes were the music during the ceremony. He even delivered one of the rings on a severed hand, and the other in a mini coffin!
“The best part about working with Rich was that he helped us through the planning and right into the day itself. We worked out a way in which he had my groomsman pick cards to decide the best man, and then helped us integrate a zombie through-line into the ceremony.
“Now, if he can do all this weirdness for us, I can only imagine what amazing things he would bring to a more traditional wedding. I cannot say enough great things about this man, and I cannot imagine the day without his guidance, wit, and contributions.
“The next time I get married, I will certainly call Rich again. I know my wife will as well.”
[Editor’s Note: Wait, what was that last part again?]
