{"id":230,"date":"2015-02-15T10:05:25","date_gmt":"2015-02-15T18:05:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.WellSayIDo.com\/?p=230"},"modified":"2015-03-31T10:30:08","modified_gmt":"2015-03-31T17:30:08","slug":"wedding-tip-your-rings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wellsayido.com\/?p=230","title":{"rendered":"Wedding Tip: Your Rings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>[Here&#8217;s another installment in my &#8220;Things You Oughtta Know&#8221; series: Tips you&#8217;ll find useful before walking down that aisle.]<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.WellSayIDo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/HandsRings.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-231\" src=\"http:\/\/www.WellSayIDo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/HandsRings-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Hands and rings\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wellsayido.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/HandsRings-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wellsayido.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/HandsRings-1024x681.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>We all know that the exchange of wedding rings is one of the most beautiful parts of\u00a0any wedding.\u00a0 But, my experience has shown me that <em>three things could happen<\/em> when you try to put a ring on someone else&#8217;s finger:<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>1) <em><strong>The ring\u00a0slides on perfectly smoothly.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 This one happens most of the time, and that&#8217;s great!<\/p>\n<p>2) <strong>It <em>feels<\/em> like it&#8217;s not going to work.<\/strong>\u00a0 When a person holds out their hand to have a ring placed on it, they often hold their fingers stiffly, and the other person feels resistance when the ring slides on.\u00a0 Although the ring <em>will<\/em> slide on with a little more pressure, the other person&#8217;s instinct is to hold back &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>If, on your wedding day, someone&#8217;s hesitates when putting a ring on your finger but\u00a0you <em>know<\/em> it&#8217;s going to fit, don&#8217;t hesitate to take over, and finish sliding the ring onto your finger.
